In late 1996, Chris Gore bought the rights to Film Threat back from Larry Flynt Publications and convinced me to come back into the fold as Senior Editor for what turned out to be a short-lived (two-issue) re-launch. For issue number one, I penned "Celebrity Death Feeding Frenzy," which was accompanied by a pitch-perfect illustration (at left) by artist Les Toil. (For the second issue, I wrote "Drunk with Ambition: Boozin' & Schmoozin' with Hollywood's Young & Hungry Hotshots.")
For insight into what inspired me to write "Celebrity Death Feeding Frenzy," read my blog post "Elizabeth Taylor, Demerol and the Post-Mortem Media Circus."
